London has a way of teasing people into thinking that summer is here.
A day will start sunny, then cloud over, only to clear up to beautiful evening … only after you’ve gone for your run. Then you’ll get two or three amazing days and then two or three weeks of drizzly rain. Then a patch of weather will come up from the Mediterranean and temperatures will soar for a week or more, and you’ll barely remember any complaints about English weather.
It all means that the countryside stays incredibly green and that you seriously appreciate the days like this when there is about as much sun is there are clouds (meaning, London is having a sunny day).
