TempoFit is New Zealand’s running-based boot camp for runners of all abilities (including those learning to run). Click here for the dedicated TempoFit site.

We have two streams on offer, one of which is bound to suit your training goals and current fitness levels:

Run 101

Are you new to or returning to running? And would you struggle to run 10k without a sneaky breather?

If so, Run101 is made for you. It’s a super supportive programme in a small group setting where you get plenty of contact with the the coach and support from fellow runners.

Accelerate

Do you want to become a faster runner? Can you run 10k non-stop? Are you targeting a new distance (like a marathon or half) or a new PB? 

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, TempoFit’s traditional 6-week programme is for you.

The traditional 6-week TempoFit format is for those looking to take their running speed, endurance and technique to the next level.

Cost = $119.

20x30-AAMW0016With coaching headed up by Hayden Shearman, each TempoFit season involves a series of high-energy group workouts. The workouts are not races, they are tailored to suit individual fitness levels and are super fun and social. Read more about Hayden’s coaching here.

TempoFit Accelerate by the numbers:

75: The number of runners registered for the first ever season of TempoFit (Spring 2013)
6.0%: The average improvement over 3k for all members of the Spring Season of TempoFit
55 seconds: That 6.0% improvement represented a whopping average of 55 seconds over 3k
6120km: Distance run by TempoFit-ers during workouts of the 2013 Spring Season.

All workouts are 50-60 minutes (except weekend long runs which vary depending on the goals and abilities of the individual).

You don’t need to come to every session, but you’ll want to!
